WHAT IS THE LEAGUE

The Zen in Golf Junior League is a monthly program designed for young golfers to learn how to compete in a structured environment, build confidence, while learning discipline, responsibility, and sportsmanship.

Each tournament represents an opportunity to grow, learn how to handle pressure, and develop discipline while enjoying the process of the game.

🏆 Saturday Junior League Experience

Every Saturday at Cooper Colony Golf Course, junior players have the opportunity to participate in a structured development and competition experience designed to build confidence, discipline, and real on-course skills.

Saturday Junior League – School Year Program

Every Saturday 3:00pm - 5:00pm

The official league begins at 3:00 PM with players walking 9 holes in a supervised and structured environment.
Players develop: confidence on the course score management decision-making discipline competitive experience
The league is designed to create long-term player development while making golf enjoyable and motivating for juniors.

Optional Training Clinic

Every Saturday 1:30pm - 2:45pm

Players may participate in the pre-league clinic focused on:
putting chipping short game strategy warm-up mental preparation
This training session helps players prepare for competition while continuing to develop their technical and mental skills.

Focused on fun, confidence, and first on-course experiences.
Introduction to pace of play and basic competition behavior.

Development of fundamentals, deeper understanding of the game, and initial decision-making in competition.
Building confidence on the course.

Junior Development I ( Ages 11–12)

Junior Development II (Ages 13–14)

Greater focus on competition, strategy, and decision-making. Preparation for more advanced levels.

Competitive Juniors
Players (Ages 15–17) 9 Holes

Players advance through divisions as their skills, confidence, and on-course experience improve.

Preparation for High School teams and high-level competition.
Focused on technical development, decision-making under pressure, and performance in real playing conditions.
This level prepares players to be part of school teams, progress toward college programs, and pursue scholarship opportunities through a high level of play.

Yes. Through competition and the Zen in Golf philosophy, players learn how to manage pressure, emotions, and confidence both on and off the course.

Players should bring their golf clubs, golf balls, tees, water, hat, and appropriate golf attire. We recommend arriving early for preparation and warm-up.

In addition to technical skills, players develop discipline, patience, respect, concentration, and decision-making abilities under pressure.
